The Directorate of Shipping Services (DSS), under the Andaman & Nicobar Administration, has officially launched online daily harbour ferry ticketing through the STARS E-Ticketing Portal. Implemented with immediate effect, this initiative represents a major step toward digital transformation, designed to enhance passenger convenience and improve the efficiency of harbour ferry services.
The successful implementation of this advanced online daily harbour ferry ticketing system was facilitated by CRIS (Centre for Railway Information System).
While the DSS highly encourages all passengers to take advantage of this new digital facility for a more comfortable, time-saving, and hassle-free travel experience, traditional methods remain available. For the convenience of all commuters, the existing offline daily ticketing counters will continue to function as usual.
