Get Ready for the Monsoon Carnival 2026: A Celebration of Andaman's Rainy Season Beauty

The Andaman & Nicobar Administration is gearing up to celebrate the magic of the rainy season with the much-anticipated Monsoon Carnival 2026. Organized by the Department of Tourism in collaboration with several allied departments, the three-day extravaganza will run from June 26th to 28th, 2026.

Designed to showcase the Andaman Islands as a vibrant year-round destination, the carnival will highlight the region's serene monsoon beauty, cultural richness, and unforgettable experiences. The event promises a dynamic mix of tourism, sports, local traditions, handicrafts, and mouth-watering cuisine, offering both residents and tourists a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the island spirit.

Exciting Events Lineup

Sports enthusiasts can look forward to the #VictoryVibes Beach Volleyball Knockout Tournament, taking place at the scenic Corbyn's Cove Beach on June 26th and 27th (3 PM to 8 PM).

For the creatively inclined, the #MonsoonMomentsANI Reel Making Competition invites participants of all ages to capture the enchanting beauty of the islands through their lenses. Entries must be original, shot within the A&N Islands, and last between 30 to 90 seconds. Submissions will be judged on creativity, storytelling, visual quality, and audience engagement.

Food lovers are not left out! The #MonsoonFlavours Food & Spice Fest will be held at the ITF Ground throughout the carnival (June 26th-28th). This culinary celebration will feature participation from hoteliers, restaurant owners, street food vendors, and local Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
