IGNOU Extends July 2026 Re-Registration Deadline to 15 July

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for online re-registration for the July 2026 academic session. Students enrolled in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Programmes can now complete their re-registration until 15 July 2026.

The university has advised all eligible learners to complete the re-registration process within the extended period to ensure timely admission and continuation of their studies for the upcoming session.

Re-Registration Process

The re-registration process is completely online and includes:

• Online course selection
• Payment of the prescribed programme fee
• Confirmation of successful registration

Students should log in to the SAMARTH IGNOU Portal using their registered credentials and complete all required steps before the deadline.

Forgot Your Password?

Learners who have forgotten their login password can reset it through the online portal before proceeding with the re-registration process.

Fresh Admissions

IGNOU has also informed that fresh admissions for the July 2026 session are currently underway. The last date for fresh admissions is also 15 July 2026.
