JNRM Invites Applications for Guest Faculties & Resource Persons for Academic Session 2026–27

Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya (JNRM), a constituent college of the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Institute of Higher Learning (NSCBIHL), has invited applications from eligible candidates for the empanelment of Guest Faculties/Resource Persons for the Academic Session 2026–2027.

According to the official press notice, the engagement will be made purely on an "as and when required" basis, depending on the teaching requirements of various departments. Selected candidates will receive honorarium as per the prevailing UGC guidelines, subject to the maximum monthly ceiling prescribed by the competent authority.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should possess:

• A Master's Degree with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from a recognized university.
• Candidates with NET, SLET, SET, or Ph.D. qualifications as per UGC Regulations are eligible.
• Candidates exempted from NET/SLET/SET under applicable UGC norms may also apply.
• Relaxation in qualifying marks will be applicable to reserved categories as per UGC/Government norms.

Honorarium

The official notification states:

• NET/Ph.D. Qualified Candidates: ₹1,500 per lecture (maximum ₹50,000 per month).
• Postgraduate Candidates (without NET/Ph.D.): ₹1,000 per lecture (maximum ₹25,000 per month).

The engagement will remain temporary and will depend on the teaching workload of the concerned department.

Selection Process

The panel of Resource Persons/Guest Faculties will be prepared on the basis of academic merit and UGC-prescribed academic score, considering qualifications, NET/Ph.D., research publications, awards, and teaching experience, as applicable.
