ANIIMS MBBS Admission 2026–27: Application Forms Available from August 8
The Andaman & Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences (ANIIMS) has announced the commencement of the MBBS admission process for the academic session 2026–27. Eligible candidates who have qualified NEET-2026 can submit their applications online beginning 8 August 2026.
ANIIMS has received approval for 114 MBBS seats for the 2026–27 academic year. Admissions will be conducted through both the All India Quota (AIQ) and the Andaman & Nicobar State Quota.
Seat Distribution
The approved 114 MBBS seats will be filled as follows:
- 17 seats through All India Quota (AIQ) counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
- 97 seats under the Andaman & Nicobar State Quota, including:
- 10 EWS seats
- 87 Category seats
Only NEET-2026 qualified candidates belonging to the Andaman & Nicobar Islands are eligible to apply for the State Quota seats.
How to Apply
Candidates can submit their applications online through the Common College Admission Portal. Application forms and the admission prospectus will be available from 8 August 2026.
The institute has also stated that the provisional merit list will be published on 17 August 2026 at 11:00 AM on the official website and institute notice board.
