The Andaman Islands boast the richest marine biodiversity in India. Whether you are a non-swimmer looking to check diving off your bucket list or a seasoned professional, understanding your options is key:

Shore Dive vs. Boat Dive: Shore dives start by walking into the water from the beach (great for nervous first-timers). Boat dives take you into deeper, clearer waters away from the coast where coral reefs are largely untouched.
Do I need to know how to swim? For a Beginner / Discover Scuba Dive (DSD), absolutely not! You will be accompanied 1-on-1 by a certified Divemaster holding onto you the entire time.
Medical Fitness: You must be physically fit. Asthmatics, pregnant women, and individuals with severe heart/blood pressure issues are generally not permitted to dive for safety reasons.
